weāve created a suggested script below for your conversation with a potential client about how you work with hopscotch you can also download it here therapist good morning, this is ā (your name) may i help you? caller iām looking for therapy for my 8 year old daughter do you take aetna? therapist i am currently in network with aetna for many of their commercial plans i do not accept medicaid or medicare plans if you are interested in utilizing your in network benefits, i work with hopscotch for administration, insurance, and payment processing itās an easy process for my clients we can talk more about that in just a few minutes first iād like to talk about your daughter and hear more about what led you to call about counseling if we decide iām a good fit, i can provide you with the information on the next steps would that be okay with you? caller sure therapist okay, great, so tell me a little bit more about your daughter what is happening that has you concerned? see info from the article in resource center āa therapist's strategy for success how to ace the initial 15 minute consultationā to guide you on how to best use this time to determine if this client is a good match for you therapist i feel confident that i can help you and your daughter with your concerns/this issue all of my appointments are via telehealth itās an easy process using the hopscotch platform would you like to get started? great, let me take down some information from you so i can get the process started i will enter this information today into the hopscotch platform, and then you will receive an email from hopscotch to create an account and complete your hopscotch profile so that we can verify your insurance benefits and begin working together use the cheat sheet in 3 c to gather this info you will receive that email as soon as i submit your information if you donāt see it, please check your spam or junk mail folder and reach out to me again if there are any questions hopscotch will use the information you provide to verify insurance benefits i will reach out to you by messaging through hopscotch to schedule our first appointment this first appointment is what we call an āintake appointment ā most of this session i will be meeting with you, the caregiver, but i will also want to meet with your child for part of our session so they have an opportunity to get to know me and ask any questions this session lasts about 60 minutes and i will be asking you a lot of questions about your childās history and needs to help determine their initial diagnosis, as well as whether they seem to be a good fit for teletherapy we will also start talking about treatment goals and schedule our future sessions therapist do you have any other questions before we end our call? thanks for calling i look forward to working with you and your daughter
