we invite you to download and start playing! the hopscotch kids app can make your sessions even more fun and effective, whether you're working with clients in person or through telehealth in person, you can use the app to teach and practice important skills, creating an interactive and dynamic learning experience during telehealth sessions, your clients can conveniently access the games on their own devices and share their experiences and insights with you they can even practice the skills they’ve learned directly in session with you the hopscotch kids app also provides an opportunity for continuous skill building in the home! schedule and manage adult clients through hopscotch! we are excited to be able to offer you the ability to see adult clients through the hopscotch platform just as we do for your child clients, we will take care of the insurance billing and administration for you although hopscotch will remain a pediatric focused behavioral health provider, and will market ourselves externally as such, we have come to realize that many of you have the skills, training and experience to serve older family members who contact you for therapy and would like to be able to add them to your hopscotch caseload so, we’ve created a way for you to add 18 and older clients to hopscotch using the “add a client” button at the top of your home screen in the provider portal, you’ll be able to quickly add your adult clients who are in network with the insurances you are able to accept (as indicated on your profile) the following are scenarios in which this new feature will be helpful to our providers you are passionate about helping moms and dads with parenting concerns a parent contacts you because they would like support with their child as you learn more about the child, you realize the child does not meet the criteria for a mental health diagnosis, but the parent shares they have a history of anxiety and meets the diagnostic criteria for an anxiety disorder (or other diagnosis) you are trained in working with women experiencing postpartum mood and anxiety disorders a struggling new mother contacts you to inquire about therapy she meets the diagnostic criteria for an anxiety disorder, depression or adjustment disorder you’ve been working with a high schooler who is turning 18 soon and wants to continue therapy services with you you enjoy working with young adults you receive calls from potential clients who are college age and are going to school or working and needing therapy services you are a trained infant mental health provider and would love to work with this population and bill insurance for services since infant related therapeutic work is generally not recognized by insurance, if the infant’s parent meets the criteria for a mental health diagnosis, you will be able to work with the family through hopscotch zocdoc com is live!
