4.1 Late Cancellation and No-Show

client late cancellation and no show all clients (or respective caregivers) sign hopscotch’s 24 hour cancellation and no show agreement upon initial registration to the hopscotch platform this agreement does not apply to the client/caregiver 15 minute consultation appointment if a client cancels within 24 hours of a scheduled appointment or does not attend their scheduled appointment, hopscotch will charge the client a $50 late cancellation/no show fee all late cancellation/no show charges will occur via the form of payment that the client has confirmed within their hopscotch platform profile the full amount of a late cancellation/no show fee will be reimbursed to the provider however, providers will have the option to waive the late cancellation/no show fee for a client and can note this decision within the hopscotch platform provider late cancellation and no show hopscotch providers agree to arrive on time to appointments with clients in case of emergency, reach out to clients directly to let them know of any changes to their schedule ensure that they have spoken to a client/caregiver before making any changes to an appointment time make every reasonable effort to reschedule the appointment to the next best available date and time if a client contacts hopscotch to inform our team that their provider was late or missed a session without notification, hopscotch will consult with the provider if recurring instances of late cancellations or no shows occur, this will be considered a grievance against the provider and will be reviewed internally to determine if the provider will be temporarily suspended or removed from the network
