1.3 Professional Liability Insurance

hopscotch providers are required to hold active professional liability insurance with at least a minimum per occurrence of $1,000,000 and minimum aggregate of $3,000,000 this professional liability insurance may not be part of a group and must fall under the individual professional liability insurance must include coverage specifically for telehealth services as well as provider coverage for each individual state that the provider is licensed to practice in if a provider’s liability insurance is canceled, denied, or lapses for any period of time, hopscotch reserves the right to temporarily suspend the provider’s public facing profile within the hopscotch directory, hold pending client consultation requests, and hold pending sessions until updated documentation is received the provider must send written or verbal communication to hopscotch’s clinical operations team within 2 business days of documentation request hopscotch reserves the right to immediately terminate a provider’s contract and remove them from the hopscotch provider network if no communication or updated documentation is received as a lack or lapse of liability coverage poses greater risk to hopscotch and the provider in delivering ongoing health services and care
